Barbara Bauer, Ph.D., president and founder of BBLA, earned her degrees in British and American literature at Hunter College and St. John’s University in New York. Our authors have been published all over the world, and they have appeared in all the major media. Their books have been reviewed in The New York Times, Booklist, Publishers Weekly and Kirkus to name just a few. In addition, they have won many awards and have been invited as guest speakers to numerous organizations. The agency was established in New York in 1984.
